The award, presented annually at the SDASFAA conference, honors one member for outstanding service to the association. She has also served on the Executive Council, first as Member at Large and now as Treasurer.
“Morgan’s dedication, professionalism and enthusiasm for SDASFAA and our membership make her a truly deserving recipient of the Douglas Steckler Professional Development Award,” said Erin Richards, financial aid director at South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. “She continues to impress with her attention to detail and support of SDASFAA activities.”
In her leadership roles, Stadler has played a key part in reviewing and revising SDASFAA’s strategic plan, while also taking on additional responsibilities that demonstrate her commitment to the profession.
“Morgan is a rising star in our association,” said Becky Pribyl, director of financial aid at Northern. “Her contributions and positive attitude are truly appreciated.”
The Douglas Steckler Award was established in 1992 in memory of SDASFAA’s first president. The honor includes a plaque and a $100 professional development voucher for the recipient to use in the following year.
